Tesoro Deleon

After purchasing a Vaquero off Ebay and finding out how good it is:detecting: I have decided to sell my Garrett AT Pro and purchase a DeLeon. I have read excellent reviews on this detector:clapping: and can't wait to get it. The Tesoro agent here in Aussie has been very helpful to me regarding the Vaquero, so I will be buying the DeLeon from him. If anyone on this forum owns a DeLeon I would be interested in your views:)

Cheers,
Kevin

I have had mine for about 8yrs now and have had many great finds it is a coin vaccum and will find silver very deep. And as for gold it will pick up many of the smaller rings in any type of soil. I truly belive it if it is there the DeLeon will find it!

Geez-I didn't expect to hear from you!

Please Please PLEASE do a video on it! There are virtually none of them on Youtube.

Thanks!

i've owned 7 of them and i really liked them and had to sell them for different reasons but wanted to comment i have got many firsts with them but if your in mineralized soil then they don't handle it the very best, but mild soil does very well acurate meter just don't rely on the depth meter part but other than this works good i've even tried a little prospecting with one and a 4" coil on dried up river beds in all metal and will tell you if there are hot rocks present all in all a great machine!

Thanks for the replies fellas, sold my AT Pro today:clapping: Ordering the Deleon tomorrow:thumbup: Re Detector OCD, you are right, not many videos on the DeLeon, I have a small video camera on one of my RC aircraft, it records to a mini SD card. I might see if I can attach it to the detector and take some video for posting on You Tube, I think that would work. I'll keep you posted.

Cheers,
