I got my Deleon today. But when I turn it on it never stops bouncing around with differant coin depths,differant metal types or ID numbers.It doesn't make any differance either when I change the Threshold,Sensitity or Discrinate levels. Any ideas for me to try before I contact Tesoro? I checked the batteries they seem to be OK and shows full charge. Thanks-Frank
 
Wouldn't hurt to try new batts and double check the battery polarity. Try setting all controls to minimum. Is there any elec interference around you?
 
Mine acts quirky in the house where electrical circuits are present. Also double check coil connection and secure the cord so it isn't flopping on the rods.

Thanks guys for the info. It just might be electrical interferance. I was inside. I took it outside and seem to clearup mostly. We are having a freezing rain now so had to cover with bag and use flashlight so didn't stay out too long. I will get outside tommorrow and report back.
