Anyone. use this machine on the beaches? fresh or salt. dry sand.?


How does it favor on jewlery?

I've heard some complaints on the bargraph being to small and no back light.

however. I'd like to read some reviews. from others.

Works well on freshwater beaches, not well in wet salt water, works OK on the dry sand areas, because of the preset ground balance. Not too sensitive on gold. Sometimes I put it in VCO all metal mode and look at the TID for extra info. I prefer the Cibola, it is lighter, takes one battery, is deeper.

I use the audio Info more than the TID on all the detectors I have.

Bar graph is very visible.

I just bought a Sand Shark and used it today for the first time, I was very impressed by the way it worked. I could tell the depth and size of the target by the signal. Picks up all metals. You will dig up trash as well. But you will find gold.
