Tesoro DeLeon / Golden Max Users... Help Please

I like this detector with the numeric target id. Is it fairly accurate and how do it perform. What about the Golden Max I like it for its ability for tuning out pull tabs and still may detect gold. How accurate is this one. Thanks!

The DeLeon is a good performer in my soil and the target ID is pretty accurate. Haven't used the Golden.

I find a lot more nickles with my DeLeon than I did with my Cibola. I like it. The ID has been accurate in my mild soil, and only the depth meter is goofy on small targets.

I've only used the DeLeon but the id was accurate here in La, plus it goes fairly deep.

in my ground the deleon will go deeper and has one of most acurate tid other than the depth meter, the golden is a supr machine as well but in my soil up here 7" is maxed for depth with it but i could notch out most pull tabs and keep nickels in range, it would be a hard decison there both super machines!

I have used both machines and both are excellent . But I would have to give the edge to the Golden because of the tones and notch . This machine has found me more gold than all the machines that I have owned .

Thanks for all the advice I wish there was one Tesoro detector that has both features in one.

Yeah, you and all the rest of us too!

No silver of gold rings but I did find a silver saint christophers medal with my DeLeon, and of course I've found silver coins with it.

Yeah It is an awesome machine! My best year to date was 25 keepers ....silver and gold with 12 gold rings one was a whopper size 13 with 9 baguette diamonds click on my name and check out older posts and you will pics of my finds can't go wrong with the D .

On the Golden I had, the tones are close together, and sometimes a little confusing,(so I sold it..)However,they say if you take time to learn the tones, the Golden becomes ONE OF THE BEST MACHINES EVER at ID ing targets! Also the notch feature WILL CUT OUT PULLTABS,AND STILL FIND GOLD RINGS!

The Deleone I had,had a great meter,(but a little jumpy),so I also sold it..
The Deleone air tests a little deeper than the Golden,with a 9" dime,11" quarter,etc..

What's funny is,I just got my second Golden delivered today,I bought from Pulltab here on the FINDMALL!
(CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF TESTING ALL THE DIFFERENT MACHINES! LOL!)
