Tesoro Deep Search VI....Worth the overhaul and tune-up?

I've had for a very long time now, a Tesoro Deep Search VI, serial # SN 0022 I was told some time ago, this is the first dectector that tesoro ever made, and that 0022 would have been just that, the 22nd put off the production line. It's in basicaly MINT ! Shape, but I don't get any depth hardly at all with it. I'm wondering if it's worth sending into Tesoro, to have them give it a going over and a good tune up. I've always loved Tesoro products, and this is just sitting in a closet, but would like to take it out and hunt with it some day.

What do you all say?

What fun!

I would certainly ask them to repair it!
