TESORO CUTLASS II

I would like to hear from owners of the Cutlass II about performance in iron, depth, etc. Is it comparable in performance to the Silver

I have bragged up the Silver

Thanks for the reply Steve. I had a Silver

Well, I just about got a good hosing on the Cutlass II I mentioned earlier. I called the owner early yesterday evening and he still had the detector, so I told him I would take it. Next thing I know someone emailed a friend about buying the same detector after I had talked to the guy.
I called the guy today knowing he sold the detector to someone else and asked him a couple questions about the detector......well now after he took the detector out of storage the batteries had leaked in it and ruined it ....no good at all now. This guy had my phone number, but he was gonna let me send payment for the detector and give me the high stiff one. It really makes it hard to trust people when they lie to you as this guy did to me. At least he didn't get the money this time...........

Most folks in the hobby are good honest people but things like that leave a bad taste in your mouth for awhile. Glad to hear that you didn't loose any $$$. Not sure why he didn't sell it to you as many of us know (myself included) that you are one of the good guys. Sorry about what happened Roger. Steve.

Thanks Steve, I agree that most guys are good as gold especially here on the forums. I have dealt with several guys here both buying and selling and never had a problem at all. If I make a deal with someone I sure wouldn't sell the item to the next person to come along.
I'm buying a Compadre from a forum member here that I have seen on here posting for as long as I have been here so I'm very confident this sale will go much better than my last attempt.
