Tesoro Cutlass II Interference

I purcahsed a Tesoro Cutlass II and when using it I pick up alot of interference, it is drving me crazy, I have tried different locations and hunting areas, but it seems not to help. Does anybody have an ideas or is there something wrong with the detector.

Hello Coinhunter1952, Can't really help you with your problem but, I don't really think the ones who could help you will see your post here. You should scroll up the the Tesoro Forum. There are alot of seasoned Tesoro veterans there. They may be able to help. I would repost your question there.

couple of things posible with cutlass 11
1. (not to insult intelligence) battery could be low-will chatter
a lot till it goes dead - check age on battery
2. at club hunts it will feed off other cutlass 11- are you around
another one when you hunt (possible other tesoro)
3. maybe your earphone conection at machine or in earpads is streached
and wire loose- are your earphones an older pair

good luck i have 4 cutlass's GREAT MACHINE for coins and club hunts
