Hi Del,

It all depends on what series of coil you have, Delta (4 pin) or Epsilon (5 pin), Mike Hillis always raved about the Golden
 
Yeah Mike swears by the Cleansweep on the Golden
 
I don't know about "best" as I haven't used mine on mutiple detectors, but I've done well on sports fields with the 5 pin on my DeLeon. However, most targets have been less than 6 inches regardless of which coil in the locations I've used it, but it sure covers the ground.
