I went back to the old home place today to see what I could unearth. I was all over the board with detectors today. I was swinging the G2, Bandido II

Nice relics tabman,

I think you have a couple of old navy buttons, the football shaped bullet is a colt cap and ball projectile from the civil war.

From what you are finding, I'd say the best is still to come, a lot of history at that old homestead.

Awesome, I was beginning to wonder if the Cortes ever see's any action. Nice variety of finds today.

Tab Man,, I think you really need to find out more about that button and that twisted thing. I don't know much about the war stuff, but I think you might have something there... KEN

Those are some cool finds Tabman. Is that teeth marks on the bullet on the right side in the picture with 3 bullets and the button ? Kinda looks like it in the picture.

I can't tell for sure if it's bite marks or gravel impressions. I believe these 2 ringer bullets are Confederate. I found a 3 ringer today that's probably Union.

The area that I'm detecting was held by both Confederate and Union solders.
