Tesoro Conquistador which coil is better..8" brown or 8x9 spider

Well I can tell you this, doing some air testing with my golden umax the 8" brown coil seemed to gain an inch more compared to the 9 x 8" coil and yet have tried the 12 x 10 " coil on as well and it's terrible on the golden but on the silver it a kick butt unit but then again some of this preference as well, good luck on searching for that deep coil and find that treasure!

On my Conquistador, I'd give the 8" brown donut a slight edge (air test) but not enough to get especially excited about. If spring ever comes here to N. Idaho, I'll try both in the ground to see if one is worthwhile over the other.

Good question, I have a Bandito II uMax with the brown 8" coil that suppose to be here today. And have an older Silver Sabre Plus with the 8"x9" white coil on it that might be here at the end of the week begining of next week. I plan on taking the Bandito with both coils and doing some honest in the field actual tests. Will let you know the results. Steve.

I have both coils for my Cortes and air tested them against each other several times on various coins. They are the same in performance as far as I can tell.
