Tesoro Comparison - Bandido II uMAX vs Outlaw

The folks over on the Tesoro forum don't seem interested in responding to my post asking for a performance comparison between the new Outlaw and the Bandido II uMAX. I've heard that these two detectors are very similar, but I'd like to know if there are any significant differences. If there are any folks out there who have experience with both detectors, I'd appreciate your feedback.

What? Dell.... I thought you have owned them all, There are two people on this forum that I know of that have have used them both, I ain't mentioning names. Although I have the Bandido ll

Well I don't think you could go wrong with either one of 'em for that type of detector.-----I'll tell you one thing---that little Bandito is one hard little mamma to beat!

To Hombre's point below, it's really unfortunate that so many folks on these forums are afraid to express their opinions about a particular detector because they fear negative fallout from self-styled defenders of various detector brands. It really makes informed decision making doubly difficult.

I don't give a hoot which is best and it just ain't worth the hassle to write about the pros and cons of a certain detector vs another detector. I responded to you about the Bandido ll

Seems to me that both detectors are similar enough that the decision is whether to buy new (outlaw) and/or with the extras coils or not. I've seen references to the Outlaw being a Bandido II on steroids, but haven't had the opportunity to try one.
