Tesoro coils

Do Tesoro coils carry the lifetime warranty (to the original purchaser) when purchased separately from a Tesoro detector purchase?----In other words----if you purchase a Tesoro coil (by itself) at some point in time----does that coil have a lifetime warranty (for you, the original purchaser)?
 
Call tesoro and ask. I think the coils are limited.
 
all I can add is that I sent in my Golden Sabre II that I bought new in for a checkup last year (23yrs old) and they rebuilt the coil...no charge!
 
Great answer oneguy and that says worlds for the Tesoro Co.-----I checked Kellycos ads & see that they have a "lifetime warranty" noted under every new Tesoro coil they sell for the Tesoro Co.-----Pretty cool, huh?-----You buy a new Tesoro detector--you get a lifetime warranty---you buy ANY Tesoro coil(s)--you get a lifetime warranty (original purchaser)!------How do you beat that??----You don't!!:thumbup:-----Reasonable priced to, I might add--which is refreshing!

Thats great news that your coil is covered by the Lifetime warranty,what is most frustrating for us over in the UK we only get a 12 months warranty on our Laser branded machines which are made by Tesoro for the UK market,that to me is 'total pants',we even have a authorised Tesoro service engineer in the UK who carries out all warranty work but why one country has lifetime to the original owner and 12 months for another country is beyond me,especially when they all come out of the same factory in the 1st place in the US.
 
I sent a coil in for repair they received it in Prescott a month ago and I have heard diddly squat from Tesoro , last time I sent a detector in for a tune up about 3 years ago I got an email that they had received it and when they sent it back, their service has really fallen off big time and it's pointless sending them an email as it NEVER gets answered.

so where I come from the communication is beyond the worst out there and I am not very happy at all, so I guess I just wait I might get it back I might not , so basically I don't know if I have any warranty at all, but hey they are cheap enough when they cark it just toss it in the bin and buy another one, keep everything that can be used and toss the rest.

so if they didn't work I sure wouldn't buy one for the service :sleepy:

but who knows it could show up tomorrow or I may never see it again so as of today I say I have no warranty in Australia, sure hope I am wrong !!
