Tesoro coil question ???

I posted this on the modification forum but have had no replies so i'm asking it here,


I have a Tesoro Stingray and would like to know if a Umax 9X8 coil can be hardwired in to the Stingray ?

Both the Stingray and 9X8 Umax coil are 10 kHz.

Thanks for any info.
 
Call the service dept and ask Rusty... he's a nice guy and they just might do it for a fee for you, if it'll work with the stingray that is. Personally the spoked coil I think would be bad about hanging up on weeds and what not. But you may not get in that type of situation. It may just work with it.
