I went back to the ole house site this morning to see what the Cibola could do with the Sharpshooter Coil attached. I'm just amazed how quiet the Cibola ran considering all the nails and EMI. A lot quieter than the AT Pro, Deleon, and Outlaw at this particular site. I've pulled some really good silver coins from this site so far and I just know that there are some good ones left to find. Maybe even a gold ring. The big surprise today was unearthing a massive silver ring. It could be just a coincidence, but last night when I was rubbing my Genie I was thinking it has been awhile since I've found a silver ring. It was a happy surprise. I also ended up finding a Buffalo Nickel, a 1912 V Nickel, a 1907 Indian Head Penny, a Memphis Rail Token and a few Wheat Pennies (1911, 1944, 1942). This Cibola sure is fun to use.
Lucky me, I spoke with the neighbor next to the ole home site today and got permission to detect his yard. His house was built around 1908.
