But not today! I got another early start this morning and was at the site at daybreak. The EMI is always bad at this site, but today it seemed even worse. This is one of the worst sites for EMI that I've ever detected. It seems like it wavers. The only thing you can do is dig all repeatable audio signals regardless of how they sound. Maybe all this EMI has kept these good targets hidden all this time. Every time I think I have an area picked clean, I get another signal and another good target. It's a little frustrating. I was using the Sharpshooter coil and running my normal settings. I ended up finding a near perfect 1952 Quarter, a 1951 Cinco Centavos, some clad coins, 2 Buffalo Nickels, and a bunch of Wheat Pennies (1928, 1942, 1943, 1920, 1941, 1939, 1928 ).
On a side note, I pulled out my G2 right before I got ready to call it a day to see how it could handle the EMI. It's well known for being able to handle EMI. This is the only site that I used it at that it couldn't handle the EMI. Turning down the sensitivity helped some, but not much.
