Tesoro Cibola :tesoro::usaflag: Silver Plated

I thought I had a really nice sterling silver spoon ring when I first got home, but it turns out be be silver plated (1847 Rogers Bros). I just couldn't get much going today. I found a couple more Buffalo Nickels, a 1933 World's Fair souvenir, a service button, a couple Wheat Pennies (1938, 1957), and some clad coins. I started out using the Tejon, but I had to switch over to the Cibola because of EMI issues. Same settings as always. I have another place that I want to try, but I can't go detecting tomorrow.:sad:

Thanks. Chicago sure has gone south since the World's Fair. If I wanted to find a lot more silver coins and dig less trash, I could use more discrimination or be more selective in what audio signals that I dig, but I probably wouldn't have found those 5 gold rings and a lot of other neat stuff this year. I'm getting where I can usually tell if it's a coin or not by the audio tone, but I dig most halfway good sounding audio signals anyway, because I'm curious to see what's making the beep. :)

Still a nice hunt Tabman. You sure find a lot of buffalo nickels.

Thanks. I'm amazed at how Buffalo Nickels and War Nickels that I'm finding. Tesoro detectors really hit hard on them, so if the discrimination is turned down you'll find them if you put your coil over one of them. But still, there sure are an unusual amount of them in the ground where I have been detecting. :detecting:
