I went back over an area that I hunted earlier in the year. Right off the bat I found a 1941 Mercury Dime. It wasn't all that deep either and nothing was masking it, so I don't know how it ever got missed. I also found a pink Tootsie car, a car wash token, and some toasted wheat pennies (1952, 19??,1952, 19??), a button, a bunch of clad and 6 more nickels. The Cibola and Vaquero both suck up nickels like there's no tomorrow. Sorry about not having my normal trash shot. I separated out the coins and dumped the trash before I realized that I forgot to take a picture. I used my normal settings and was using the NEL Sharpshooter Coil. We need some rain!

Good job Tabman. Mercury dime right away. Things that make you go hmmm.
Yeah, a lot of the wheat pennies I have dug lately have seen better days too.

It's amazing when you think you have a spot cleaned out and still find good targets. Congrats on another silver! I love those mercs.
 
I dump my trash before taking a picture. Today my bag was so heavy with large iron that I had to go find a trash can to unload it all then continued hunting.

Great hunt! Always love pulling up Mercs, such a beautiful coin! If I took pics of my trash piles you wouldn't be able to see the coins LOL!

I have always been super proud of my trash piles.:) From watching you dig, I can see that I might have met my equal. I'll have to step it up some.
