Tesoro Cibola - pinpointing with Stock Coil - advice

Hi,
I have just purchased a Tesoro Cibola new and wondered how is the pinpointing with the stock 9 x 8" spider coil? I would appreciate any feedback on this. Thank you!

If it is like the Vaquero, I just do a X across target? Heck most of the time I do not use my pip point function. By using the X method I can narrow it down to the small D shapped opening in the coil? Good luck to you with yours, Beale.

just place a coin on the ground (make certain the area doesn't have any metal there) and...close your eyes and pinpoint until you think you have the coin centered. Do this until you are accurate. It won't take long and it's better than digging huge holes in the park where you can upset a lot of people.

Yep, "x" the target and its right there. I never use the pinpoint button, I fail to see the need!!!!
