Tesoro Cibola High Tones

Reddog777

New member
Will someone tell me what is the advantage of the CIBOLA with high tones. I am new at using this type of metal detector but I like it so far.

High tone puts the beep tone at a frequency that some find easier to listen too and thus easier to pick out the subtleties of the beep.

With the detectors I have that I can set the tone frequency (Tejon and Sand Shark) I pick a tone that is higher than the standard tone Cibola.
Cheers,
tvr

tvr answered the question well in his first sentence.----Also, part of it is "user preference" (and a persons hearing ability, or lack of it, on various tones).----I prefer the high tone adjustment on either the Cibola or the Vaquero (just like the higher tone better).----Tesoro will do a "tone adjustment" on either the C or the V for $15.---You have your choice of the standard tone OR high tone (nothing in-between).---------Del
