My modded Cibola (ground balance) is quite good:

The 5.75 coil is fantastic, it only loses about 15% depth of the 9x8.

Neat Video there Danny

You still have the Mrand modded XL Pro? I'm still playing around with mine, it's great. The modded Cibola is interesting, although the grenade was concerning me, did you find that thing? Hope all is well with you and your family.......Later..........Hombre

Hi Randy,
I still have my multitone XL PRO, it is a great machine, very strong on open spaces with low trash.
On the other side Cibola is very good amongst iron, its low sweep speed allows me to scan better the soil.
Don't worry, that kind of bomb is quite common here in Italy.
You american guys have never had a world war in your fields, in Europe we know what is dangerous, so we bring home only some relics, not all.
Happy that you like the video !

I recommend you use ordnance in all your videos Dan, It offends the ignorant.
As for world wars, weren't you on the wrong side?
However, I will thank you for cleaning up after us....

Forgive my poor English Ism, I don't want to offend you.
I am Italian, and I thank every day all American soldiers who fought to destroy Nazism.
I am on the right side, don't worry.
That bomb is not dangerous, this is what I wrote, only this.
Semper fidelis

PS that bomb is a SIPE, italian first world war hand bomb.

In my opinion, 15% depth tradeoff is well worth it for the smaller coil in all but the light trash areas.

and it also seems to me that the ground coverage at depth is almost the same.
9x8 coil covers much more ground on the first 6 inches, over 6 inches it covers the same ground of the 5.75.

I don't remember how many turns, I only did the balance on the ground (high mineralized with many hot rocks), then did the air test.

Well stated. I too thank all the soldiers that gave their lives to defeat the Nazi's, including my Italian-American grandfather who fought in the 16th Infantry in Germany and was wounded during the Battle of the Bulge. I'd love to visit Italy one day to see the area where my ancestors came from.
