Tesoro Bandido II uMax Shines Bright Today

I haven't been detecting much in the last few months because I broke my upper right arm. Today was my first time out with permission from my doctor to use my right arm to swing a detector. I chose the Bandido II uMax from my arsenal of detectors, because its super light weight makes it easy to swing. I went back over an area at a school that I have detected several times before using another brand of detector. I was surprised that I was finding so many good targets that I had missed before. I started out with high hopes of finding a gold ring. The discrimination was set just high enough to discriminate out foil sports caps. After about 50 plus holes later my back was beginning to spasm, so I cranked up the discrimination to knockout everything up to zinc pennies. My very next target was a junk ring. I started loading up on clad and got the hit on the beautiful silver ring. It's one of prettiest that I've ever found. When I got the hit on the silver dollar, my little Bandido screamed loudly dig, dig, dig. Heck, it was only around 2 inches deep. I liked to have fell out when I uncovered it, because I sure was not expecting to find a silver dollar.:)

The Tesoro Bandido II uMax is one of the best detectors ever made. Period

The Bandido II uMax is a screamer for sure and will get you motivated to do some digging.

I just love its light weight and how well if pinpoints.

Great find, and some parent is pretty up set with Little Johnny I bet............

Pretty good after a injury like that! Nice!

A rather unique silver coin find. The odds of finding a general circulated silver dollar are probably greater then finding that 1 oz silver bullion eagle. Good chunk of silver in one swing. Neat looking ring, too. HH jim tn

The Tesoro Bandidio II uMax works as well as it looks. Rusty Henry told me whatever I do, never sell my Bandido II uMax.

Anyone else have a Bandido II uMax that they won't sell?

Is there much of a learning curve with those machines tabman?[/quote

There's a very short learning curve. If you know the basics, you're up and running in a couple of minutes. The Bandido makes detecting exciting and fun.

When the Bandido finds a good target, its pitch and fast response will get your adrenalin flowing.:bouncy:

I definitely won't sell mine. Too difficult to get another one in perfect condition.

You can't buy them anymore can you?

Not a new Bandido II uMax. People who have them are very reluctant to sell them and it's getting harder and harder to find one for sale.

The Bandido II uMax works extremely well and it's really fun to use.:)

The 'Outlaw' may be what the doctor ordered for those people who want a new detector with a lifetime warranty that's fun to use and works extremely well.
