Tesoro and Fisher CZ

Does anyone have both these machines? I have a Fisher CZ coming in the mail and I would like to order some lower rods for additional coils I will be getting.......was wondering if they are the same width at the bottom as the Tesoros? I have a couple extra Tesoro lower rods...........I bought the Tesoro rods for a Shadow X5 I have so maybe they will fit the CZ coils too? bolt size can always be drilled out, its the width that's important to fit right between the coil ears.

There are lots of Tesoros and lots of CZs...which ones are you getting?

Hi Neil, The Troy X 5 was made by Fisher. The Tesoro Rods may fit it, maybe not. The Troy X2 was made by Tesoro so its more likely your Tesoro rods will fit an X2 .Hope this doesn't confuse you. I think I confused myself though! LOL, HH Charlie

Sorry for the confusion....the stock lower rod on tesoros fits all tesoros I believe, and its almost identical to the stock Shadow X5 rods(I just had to change the push pin location 90degrees)

Now Im thinking your right, the shadow x5 is made by fisher so it probably used the CZ lower rod so actually I think you answered my question. Thank you!

Glad I could help Neil, If I had not given my X5 to my son I might could have helped even more by trying some of my Tesoro Rods in it. Now I'm curious about them myself. When my CZ arrives I will check the two rods and get back here with the info so maybe someone else can benefit from it.

Ok, the Fisher CZ5, Shadow X5 and an Tesoro lower rods are the same except for one difference and that's the push pin which comes out on the bottom for CZ/Shadow, on the side for the Tesoro. The Tesoro rod is about an inch longer and also its thinner and lighter, but plenty strong enough as we all know.

I took an extra Tesoro rod I had and re drilled snap pin location to work on my T2
