i have the 8" donut hole coil thinking going deeper with a fisher 12x10 "concentric coil or a 12x10 "sef. butterfly coil?how much deeper do i get with this bigger coils?getting 9"-------10" on a quarter with the 8 " do nut coil its a 5 pin coil.cutlass ll umax det.which is the better bigger coil,would appreciate your feedback.--------------------------------------bill.

i have the silver umax with both these coils . received the 12x10 today and found a buckshot pellet in 12inch and im searching in crappy soil, the only thing i dont like about the 12x10 con its a little nose heavy coming from the brown coil

My experience with the 10X12 is similar to Delta's. You'll notice the change in weight and balance and gain a couple of inches, give or take.

If you want depth. try a Cibola. 18inches on a quarter with stock coil. Thats a fact.
