I learned a long time ago that, "It is better to have and not need, than to need and not have" which is how I got into prepping. For me, it was a graduation process from the survival training I received on active duty as I wanted to take things to "the next level".
Having said this, it's always been on my mind to write an article to shed a different light on how our amazing hobby could lend it's benefits to the prepping community. Tertiary Prepper Skills - Metal Detecting. I'm am sharing this not as a means to receive any accolades, but to share with all of you that although our hobby is sometimes mocked and criticized, we ultimately can drive an intrinsic value to groups of people if things continue going down the road we're currently heading on.
Thank you to everyone for all your knowledge that you post out here and the time and dedication you put forth to ensure our hobby not only helps everyone on this forum, but to our local communities as well.
Godspeed and God Bless!
