Gatta say today beats yesterday for one of the worst days yet. My finds include about 15 cents in clad...and a ton of trash. The weather you may ask? or not ask? Terrible. in the 100s. stale..smokier then yesterday, no breeze at all, The sky is a pale orange color due to the smoke. and the air is a light grey got out for less then an hour. so thats my day MDing...:nopity: cant wait for the smoke to clear

I didn't have much luck yesterday either, but today I did pick up about $9.00 in clad. But, the ground was very, very, very hard. My wrist is going to pay for it tomorrow....... But not to worry, I'll be back out there tomorrow, and that will loosen things up.....

Good luck

free concerts fireworks consession stands sellers booths you name it. and i know the next morning MDers will be out in the droves cleaning up. so my guess is my best chance is that night before morning.

Sorry to hear it Dobbie. Hope this one makes you feel better. I get up and out the door between 2am and 4am [depends if we are pouring concrete] then work till 5:30pm [unless I have to cure the slab or stay for it to be cut...think later]. Try to make it home by 6:30 or 7:00pm. Stay up till 10:00 or 11:00 with my better half [she gets home around 9:30pm]. This is 5+ days a week during the summer. Now Iam not crying since I do love my job, but I would trade any one of my work days for an hour of swinging in a hail storm. [GRIN] Come on winter! You get some swinging time in for those of us who can only read about it and I hope you find lots of loot.
