Term Ground Coin

I see the term "ground coin" used a lot in this forum, is that term the same as FE-Coin?

This is a great site, Thanks for all the hard work everyone puts into this form.
 
Nope, both are Target Separation modes. But Ferrous-Coin is different than Ground-Coin. Target Separation allows you to optimize the signal processing to suit your detecting conditions. The CTX 3030 offers four different Target Separation Modes. Low Trash, High Trash, Ferrous-Coin and Ground-Coin. Check out page 40 in the Manual. HH Randy
