In the desert southwest this is a common tree native to the area - a Palo Verde. That translates to Green Tree - the bark is all green. But it's all a beautiful yellow this time of the year.

Great pix, Steve. Your trees are blooming a little sooner than ours in Sierra Vista, but then you're a little warmer sooner there. Our trees have leafed out and our bushes are blooming, though.
