Tennessee Women

Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had given their
new wives duties.

The first man had married a Woman from Iowa and had told her that she was
going to do dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple days, but on the
third day he came home to a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man had married a woman from Illinois. He had given his wife
orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. The
first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was
better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were
done, and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man had married a girl from Tennessee. He told her that her
duties were to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry
washed and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day
he didn't see anything , and the second day he didn't see anything, but by
the third day some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a
little out of his left eye, enough to fix himself a bite to eat and load
the dishwasher.

The chores given to the Tennessee woman ...she had it easy; add to the list: feeding and walking the dog; raking leaves, washing windows (inside and out); sweeping the sidewalk; washing /waxing the floors; ..and there you have this Ct. woman's duties! And would you believe , I still manage to go detecting almost every day!! My husband , Hank is the greatest guy....actually he helps me with all these chores...he's an angel

Our marriage is God centered...He has given us so many blessings over the years.

Thank you, God.

Now ya just have to get him to go detecting! :)

Whoa! I clicked on this thread expecting some discussion on Pat Summit's team but this women's basketball fan found something else.

How do you like that U-Conn Women's team this year? Geno does a terrific job!

We will just have to welcome you to the forum! :)

God bless!

...they are a great team and a thorn in our side!!

But I'm glad you are a fan!! Are you a Vol fan???

I love to watch the lady Vols play...they are terrific; Pat Summit & Geno Auriemma ...what a pair!

A few years back there was a U-Conn player..Maria Conklin ...who was from Derby, Ct.....same town where I reside.

that's my only "claim to fame":lmfao:

Tennessee and UConn both are doing great this year. Actually I'm a Baylor fan. We're top 6 but it looks really bad as one of our starters tore the ACl and is out for the season as of Friday. Thank you for the welcome and hope to learn more about MD as I am a greenhorn.
