Ten Days Gold

53+ grams --all with the Cuda--a doll in the black sand. Bracelet is 14K 20.3 grams. These are from the most heavily worked section of ground there is around here. I realized that the way to operate there was to forget fresh drops and chase the marl in the shallows. Hate to quote that longwinded #$#%#& but: "the deepest water, closest to shore" .

Indeed all nice finds, but that bracelet is a STUNNER!:clapping: I know you worked hard and long for it, so cheers!

Another reason i dont always hunt at low tide..... high tide in deeper areas keep um close and you get a pretty good perspective. Outstanding finds Clive.... bet that guy who lost that gold bracelet heard it from momma.

Sweet finds Clive!!

I noticed you weren't too specific about where "here" was!!::biggrin:

These kinds of targets are rare finds at "family" beaches, but "high end" resort beaches hunts more often produce such results!!

Great finds Clive! I always look forward to your postings. Keep inspiring the rest of us as to what can be accomplished with the right equipment in the right spot with hard work, persistence & know how.

53 Grams of yellow is a good year much less 10 days!

Very cool finds Clive. Are you referring to the Barracuda? If you could please explain briefly how it works so well in black sand and what would be a similar machine. I know
you catch cr*p from some (ENVY) I for one am in awe of your expertise, consistency, and finds. Peace.

Ya, Joeb--these are the result of a re-thought game plan--no more overburden--just low ground ie don't forget to get out and keep walking along the shore. My motto: "when gold is not being served--get up from the table".

Jeff the Cuda is based upon but not identical to the PI Pro--also a great detector choice for a beginning pulse hunter. My Cuda has a PI pro coil--handles well, small footprint (less interference in black sand are around hills and gullies) and also the Cuda runs at 9V. This seems to make it less prone to saturation. It's just hits low conductors really well--pride o' the fleet!
