Temporary Cover for CTX 3030

Hi Chaps,
Using this temporary "Ziploc sandwich bag" cover for my new CTX 3030 until I get some anti glare film to put on the screen.
Used the 3030 a couple of times down the local beach and still learning how to drive it. So far all I can say is WHAT AN AWESOME MACHINE. I'm pretty new at this coin and beach detecting with my first detector being the Xterra 705. It's going to be a big learning curve but I already know that Minelab are onto a winner with this baby. Love the Forum and have learned heaps off you guys so far. I live in a pretty remote part of Australia and do mostly gold detecting. I am limited to four or five small local beaches and have picked up mostly modern coins with the odd ring thrown in for good measure. I am trying to find if there are any historical sites in the area as I would really like to find some older coins and relics from the past, but so far havn't had much luck. One of the beaches is highly mineralized with ironstone but even without ground balancing the 3030, I can still pick the diggible targets using combined tones. Well done Minelab, what a beaudy. :clapping:

That is a novel idea as a temporary solution. Good luck with your research.
