Tell Me Why this can not be done

I was thinking the perfect Detector might be the Cortez with a Manual Ground Balance in the Discriminate mode. I understand the Ground Balance affects the TID. So add one knob to adjust the TID.

Ground Balance first then say set the TID to 24 hitting on a Nickle or 31 hitting on a tab.

Why could this not be done?

By the way I would like an adjustable Notch as well.

Can it done? Probably.

Will it be done? Not likely.

You just have to figure each detectorist would love to custom build their detector based on their likes and needs. I sure know I would.

But maybe it isn't alwasy best to give us what we want, because it is possible certain configurations won't work the way we think they will.

Can't say that is so in your case, but you see my meaning.

But I know Tesoro watches these forums, looking for ideas and the dsires of their customers, so who knows?
