What is the difference between the 2 detectors both made by the same company? Are they the same but with different masks? Thanks

I had went to my local relic shop a few years back looking to upgrade from the T2 to the F75. He said the only difference is the 75 had a few more bells and whistles. Depthwise was about the same. I decided, for me anyway, I didn't need the extras.

Extra bells and whistles, or not, the F 75 LTD2 DST will run a good half circle around the regular T 2 I had. There is a difference in price, but, well, I really love my F 75. HH jim tn

T2 can't use concentric coils. But I have plenty of machine that do.

I like hunting in all metal and I think the threshold is alot smoother on the T2 and it goes just as deep, actually deeper, than boost mode in disc on either machine. Have dug bullets at 12" in all metal on classic t2 and that's about as deep as I want to dig! For a little over 4 bills you can't beat the t2.

The T2 and F75 are totally wired differently, The T2 seems to hit better on Low conductors. The T2's all metal runs a heck of a lot smoother than the F75's AM .

The T2 you can adjust your Pinpoint sensitivity, the F75 you can not, T2 has no back light, F75LTD has one, The F75 retains it's last Setting, The T2 does not

The F75 has a on the fly depth gage, the T2 does not.

The T2 has DD coils only ( T2's Nel Sharpshooter coil acts like a concentric coil) The F75 has both DD and Concentric coils.

There both Deep & swing friendly detectors, with the T2 classic at $499 and the F75 LTD at $1000 only you can decide.
