Teknetics G2 Sniffs Out Some Silver :teknetics:

I took the G2 out for few swings today. I went to a real trashy park that was dated around the early 1900's. Right off I dug a wheat penny, so I knew there had to be silver there as well. A bucket load of trash and a few hours later, I got a strong but bouncy 82/85 hit. I dug down around 4 inches out pops a 1937 Mercury Dime that was on a slight edge. Next time I'm taking the 5 inch or 10 inch DD coil. The 11 inch DD coil was a little too big for that trashy park. The two wheat pennies - 1940 & 1946

the disc on 80, I do the same in very trashy areas and don't have much time to hunt. My G2 doesn't lose any depth while on 80. A couple of months ago I located a deep coin while on 80, cut back to 40 and the tone was the same......Love this machine. HH

Yeah, I had it on 80 for a little while to give my ears a break. :)

You're right, the G2 is an awesome machine. It really hits super hard on nickels and gold rings. It also does a great job finding coins on edge.

Another nice piece of silver, Tab. Looks like you got a toasted watch, too. HH jim tn

I saw the silver colored band first and thought there for moment that I had found a nice piece of silver jewelry. Oh the let downs.

The brass door knob had me going there for moment as well.
