Teknetics Eurotek Pro?

After more research I have decided to get a Eurotek Pro. I have read many good reviews on them. How do you like yours? What would be the differences in performance between the 8" concentric and the 11" DD coils? Thanks for the help.

Most ETP users have been opting out for the 8 inch open concentric coil, as oppose to the 11 inch DD coil. Supposedly the DD will work better in higher mineralized soil, as you know the DD will give you the narrower search zone in center of length of coil. While the concentric will give you that wider search foot path. They both have their uses, it comes down to user preferences and site your hunting .Plus cost that 11 inch biaxial coil is $100 bucks more. Performance wise I prefer the concentric because its what I'm use to and never used a DD that much where I felt I needed one. I just got the ETP with 8 inch coil. At some point I will get the 5 inch DD because its the next smaller size available, and I want to use it forgetting close to tot lot equipment.

Can someone tell me what kind of depth the Eurotek Pro gets with the 8" coil and the 11" DD coil
Thanks Joe

I bought a ETP with the 8" concentric coil , but have not been able to use it (still in the box) work and weather issues have kept me from firing it up. Like GH I couldn't see the hundred dollar higher price.

The Teknetics EuroTek Pro is an AWESOME machine. I really like the stock 8" but the 11" dd coil does give better coverage and a slight increase in depth.
