Teknetics detectors

The T-2 and the Fisher F-75 look a lot alike. Is the Chassis made somewhere and then the electronics are installed by Teknetics and Fisher?
How do the Teknetics Detectors compare to say Whites, or Fisher TID machines?
I have never heard of Teknetics until I came to the forum.
