I am sorry if this is the wrong forum to post anything about Teknetics detectors in. Really not sure if I should ask on the Bounty Hunter/Fisher/or if Teknetics has their own forum. Anyways I ordered a Teknetics Delta 4000 and was wondering if anyone has tried one yet & if so I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions of it. Thanks! Steve.

But, I pick & choose the products I do videos, field tests & stake my reputation on, so I had to pass on this line.......
I told them over a year ago that these mini headphone jacks were a huge drawback among other things, & wanted no involvement especially after trying basically the same Bounty Hunter "Gold" which is also geared toward a beginner. Some people, desperate to get on the field testing map, will sell their soul & hype up anything in hopes of getting future freebies. But, I have more detectors & coils than I could ever use already, so I tell it like it is. I have turned down more field tests than I've done.....
I'm presently working on video's for more serious detectorists...professional equipment I really do use & believe in like the Coinstrike, and Garrett Infinium. Then, I will begin editing my next season in the field DVD.
Keep an eye out for those, & thanks for the support.

I bought one and have been enjoying it very much. I only started detecting a few months ago. Like anything else, it's a learning process and I'm getting better. Have found a few old coins and a mini ball today. I like how light it is. The small earjack plug doesn't bother. Once I get better, I may buy the Omega 8000 or a T2. How have you been doing with yours?

I thought this was a great video. It helped me a lot and Andy's english is excellent! He also helped me fix a programming error in my Delta that was taken care of promptly and efficiently by Teknetics.

I'm putting together some information on it I'll post later on...I'm very impressed. Like all the Dave Johnson helmed creations, it kicks butt in its category and price range!

I have found that trying to plug your 1/4" headphones into a smaller hole with an adapter is just an accident waiting to happen...just too much stress there...Big to small works ok, but small to big, not a good thing...Blue Tooth would be the way to go with that setup...Motorola HT820s with the adapter box...About $80.00 for both.

HH,

Hey GoGoGopgher. You mention an adapter box with the motorola HT820 headphones. Can you describe a little more what adapter box you are referring to? Thanks. Roy S

OK...I have read posts that say the Bluetooth is too laggy to be effective...Now I am told the way to go is wreless like you would hook up a Guitar for wireless transmission to an amp...I have not tried this or researched it too much yet though...
