Teknetics 8500 switch change

I got the Whites V3i trigger switch hooked up on my 8500B and it works great. This was my first detector repair/mod project done. I set it up so that I push it forward with my thumb and it springs back when let go. If I pull back on the switch it locks and that does nothing. So it works exactly like the push button would. You can see in the pictures that the switch I used has 3 wires. I only used the red and black wires. That way only the momentary switch works. I didn't have a washer big enough to cover the hole in the top of the handle, so I cut a piece of clear plastic to make it fit. I gotta get a bigger washer and make it better.

I found a washer to fit. It was all rusty/dirty, so my son and I polished it up with the dremel. A perfect fit. Check out them battery clips too.

I had a TeKnetics Condor that I modified with a whites three position toggle switch! I could set the switch
on the detector housing to GEB Discriminate mode and use the whites switch to toggle to a momentary
all metal or lock it in the all metal mode without changing the Main knob on the detector housing...
Had a video showing this somewhere!
