Tek User in Kansas! new member introduction

tango71

New member
Hello everyone in the Tek Forum, I just found and joined this sight yesterday as I was browsing the WWW for info on the ultimate 13" coil for my Tek Delta 4k (from Kellyco), I am not new to MD, but I am by no means an expert either, and will be sharing my finds, trips, fortunes and mis-fortunes with you from now on. I am recently retired from the Army after 22 years and would love to find some folks in my area to go on some "expeditions" with and maybe learn a thing or three! I have recently been making my own digging tools and cases, as I can not see paying $40+ for a garden tool (yes, I am a cheap Bast@*d lol!) send me a PM and I will give my phone number to see if we can set up a hunt.

Looking forward to your posts. Thank you for your service to "OUR" country ..

Make sure you get enough posts and time for Personal message usage....

Thanks Metalfun, I sometimes wish I was more east with all the older rich history in those areas, but I also am glad to be here, Less competition looking for areas and for the most part it is pretty easy to get permission to hunt someones farmland, I have a couple of folks I have met, and we have exchanged phone numbers. will start a thread of my own soon so I can keep all my info in one area and not have to make multiple posts in different threads. HH to everyone!

Welcome , I haven't been here long myself and after I purchased the ETP I was hooked, HH

Welcome Tango71,

I am new to teknetics and this forum as well. I used to be posted at Ft Riley in the late 80's. Not much around there is what I remember. Hope it has changed for the better. I have the old style t2 that doesn't have boost mode. The learning curve is taking a little longer than I would like but that's the way it goes. Trying to pinpoint is still a headache. Anyway, good luck with your hunting and finding hunting partners.

Clem
