Thats right....Now heres the part I didn't want to tell. Remember I told you guys that I was buying this T2 for my wife ...right? And that was the truth...
See my wife was diagnosed with cancer the day before Thanksgiving last year. I wanted her to have some really nice stuff cause she really deserves the best for all she's done for me over the last twenty years okay....
So I buy really great metal detectors for her cause it's a passion and a love for her to seek old treasures that have been lost and buried for years. Of course this Tek included ...see she started out with a radio shack junker. I mean the real junker...And then in the 80's I bought her a Tek Turbo Competion model(The Red One)
And so this is the detector she loves right. Anyway to make a long story really short! I got her a new T2 cause it's the only detector she'll ever want to use.
Well...between Chemo treatments she has about a week where she feels sort of okay..She's about 100 pounds soaking wet so she has to to have a lite detector. Plus she's been off work since December she's a little weak from the urgeries she's had. She's had major surgry, kidney failer, but is recovering quite well now.
The Lite T2 seemed to fit the picture well, so I bought it for her!
It was beautiful here yesterday and Spring was in the air, It had stopped raining and just one of those days where life filled the air...you know what I mean! Well...she said she might be able to stand it for about a half hour. And I said honey , little by little if your tired we can come home and rest anytime! I was glad to get her out in the sun for a while as I thought it might do her some good...and it surely did!
Well it did really good...She's out there about 20 minutes and she pops out this Bagot Diamond Ring with 38 clear cut diamonds and 14 Nice slices of Bagot diamonds in it.
Wow... Our best find to date of course!
Now for the part I don't want to tell you....
She wouldn't use the T2..
She found the darn thing with her faithful old Red Tek Turbo!
Oh well it was Tek Related...but she doesn't care about all the bells and whistles...She loves lite though! The find will definatily pay for (MY) new Tek cause she'll never pick it up as long as that Red one is still working...hehehhe!
She had a great time out in the spring air, and me... well you know the feeling of finding something nice...I found that same feeling seeing that smile on her face!
