Tried out my buddys new Tejon a few weeks ago.Went over my buried coin Test site.Coins buried overa year. Some about 10 inches in hard red South Carolina clay.Hit every one of them.Good solid hits too.My favorite many MHZ detector won't pick up all these coins. These were solid hits.I took it to a freshly bulldozed old homesite.I dug up probably 30 coins,a nice silver bracelot and 2 rings in an area about 10 by 10 foot. Most of the coins were new but I found 5 mercury dimes and a 1918 buffalo nickel in about 8 inches of hard red clay.Needless to say I was very impressed with this detector. No telling how deep it would pick up in Charleston.I found a flat button near Charleston that was a good 10 inches with my Silver Sabre umax years ago.No telling how deep this detector would pick up.I'm keeping my other detector but I'm thinking of getting a Tejon too.I was very impressed with it.
