I just got a new tejon a couple weeks ago,so far I have hunted about 2 1/2 hrs and found 3 colonial buttons,a 3ring bullet, a3 cent piece,a bridle rosette and a small shoe buckle-not bad.I like the machine but am wondering, why the need for two disc. modes.I have been digging everything with a decent or iffy reading and several times I got good redings on disc. 1 (set on nickel) and switch to disc 2(set just a little under tab) and get nothing or a very choppy iron type reading and it would be a shotgon shell or small piece of brass that should definately be a DIG every time.I hate digging shotgun shells but on my whites blue and gray they give the same signal as a button.when I dug the bullet,it even disced out as an iffy, irony signal when I went to disc 2. so why even use disc. 2, seems like if I listen to this alternate disc. I am gonna be leaving some nice relics/coins in the ground. any help appreciated.
