Ever feel like you should buy another detector?

Wonder if you need an new machine?

For those of you who set the tone control to about 3:00 try this.
Set the VCO counter clock wise until it clicks and suddenly you have a different machine, well kinda.
I did this yesterday toward the end of my hunt and actually had fun doing it. Found several coins using this mode and it became quite relaxing.
So next time you think you need another machine, just turn the VCO tone control CCW.
 
I don't know why, but I normally run mine at around the 10:30 - 11:00
Maybe its my hearing but its my normal preference with the headphones I use. I know most run a higher setting.
