Tejon setting for nickels?

Frank in NH

Active member
Quite awhile ago i asked this question on how to set up the two Disc. to knock out pulltabs and pickup nickels. Someone posted the answer but i lost the post can someone help? Thanks Frank

Hi Frank,
I've never used a Tejon; but could give
an answer... You could set Disc 1 to accept
nickels and then set Disc 2 to just barely
knock out a nickel... If you got a beep and
pulled your trigger to check Disc 2 and the
target was "Gone" then there would be a good
chance that you had a nickel.... This might
not be what you are looking for; but it is a
way to use the 2 disc. settings to give you hint...

HH, Jeff

If you are hunting for nickels you can't knock out pultabs. If you set the bottom disc, on a little below foil you will get a nickel, but you can set the top disc. around tab and check if it is a coin like ( penny, dime , quarter). But if you put the top disc. on a little below foil you will see some pul tabs, that is a Tejon.

This might help you.
