In a recent post I related my experience with the Tejon in the past year, and a recent experience where my 7 year old son was able to locate a nickel with the Bounty Hunter QDII(Pioneer 202) in a trashy area I had thoroughly searched with the Tejon.

I've seen the same thing Bill. A friend got an almost perfect 1831 dime using a pendelum swing that several of us had hunted right over numerous times at an old stagestop and inn site in the pic. It's literally carpeted with old rusty square nails, and larger iron from the blacksmith shop, that was spread by plowing after the buildings were burned in the early 1950's. Proper technique is good, sometimes blind luck is better <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">.
