Tejon on the beach?

I have heard good and bad. The good is, with GB it can help filter out the salt. The bad is, because it is a 17khz signal, it is more susceptible to salt mineralization than the 10khz machines. So maybe it comes down to how good you GB the unit.

single frequency VLF detectors do suffer in wet sand for the most part. While a few are better at it than others the multi-frequency VLF detectors have a decided edge and PI detectors are very effective. That is if you like digging all targets, some at pretty good depths.

I agree with scully - theTejon in dry sand will go deep deep deep and I swear I have dug nickels in the 14 inch range, but it will not normally handle the wet sand. I did find a few spots where there was not much iron that it would work, but most places in wet sand FORGET IT. i LIKE the machine I think it is super and it is my main machine for most hunting.
