Ok i tested the Tejon on a Nickel today vs my Bandido II umax. The Tejon made 11" and the Bandido 8".
So on high conductive targets (dime)the Tejon is just a little bit deeper but on low conductive targets (Nickel)the Tejon is much deeper.
Thanks everybody for responding.

Yo, got a Tiger shark that will match any thing outthere.

I think I need to explain-for several months i have benn having heart problems, got stents put in RCA back in July 03, then started to have problems with my hands and feet turning blue, was told this would pass, however it did not. Just returned from Deborah heart/lung in New Jersey on the 16th, turns out needed to have new stents put inside ones put in july, and also found out that the blueing is from Scleroderma,no cure as yet for that however heart is back to working so i dont need to trade my Tiger due to weight for lighter detector. Max if your out there and Jim, hope to join you and gang at beach this spring. Tom Chincoteague,Island Va

I tried my new Tejon today in my test garden that is
15 years old and I got about a inch and a half better depth over my Bandido II Umax on a 58 minnie. On a silver dime maybe a half of a inch difference. Both was 6 inches down. Going to take both to a civil war camp site this week end and compare the two.If there is not that much difference I am going to put the Tejon up for sale Monday. Jim
