Tejon maiden voyage

I bought Gunnar's Tejon last week and took it on its maiden voyage this weekend on a club hunt to coastal SC. While the finds weren't great the fellowship was priceless. The Tejon was a joy to use. Just ground balance, set disc 1 to iron - foil range and disc 2 just below nickel. If it sounds the same in disc 1 and disc 2, dig! Got my first civil war bullet and a great seal button.

Seems like great finds to me! I would be happy finding those items and the tejon is a work horse on the relics. Also good for popping a high conductor out amongst the nails with the 5.75 concentric. Sometimes I wish I didn't sell mine but now I got a modded Cibola with ground balance so I am going to give that machine a go for a while to see how well it does. Good luck with the T.

Let me clarify. Compared to many of the finds others made on the hunt, my finds wouldn't be classified as great. Confederate and colonial buttons along with Cut Spanish sliver were found on the site. But had a great time and got to play with a new toy.

Lee a trip like that is alway one for the log book. Good to put a face with a name at those type hunts, the finds are just something to talk about. Congratz of the saves bud!

after selling the Tejon, and using it for a wile i can say , its one of tesoroes good machines, for the Tejon to hit my 7" dime in my dirt shows its a deep seeker . my vista Gold is not as good on dimes but i like the two tone. but the old blisstool still beats them all but the Tejon with the 5.75 DD was impressive. in my dirt. and that small coil in the woods was really nice - Gets between the sticks real good. Glad to see the nice civil war button .
