Tejon in western Montana?

I'm thinking ahead to my next detector and have heard good things about the Tejon for relic hunting. My question is how well would it work in my part of the country? I live in western Montana and would be hunting old home sites and mining camps (on private land of course) and the ground can be a bit mineralized. Anyone else have experience with this detector in this area?

Use the Widescan coil on the Tejon in high mineralized ground....
