Tejon in bad dirt of Culpeper County, VA?

Canewrap

New member
Has anyone tried their Tejon in the bad, bad dirt of Culpeper County Virginia? Did you try it with a Widescan (DD) coil?

I just watched SCdigger's latest video from Culpeper Co and noticed the red clay. Looks like the dirt in our parts Cane!

Wayne, that's where the resemblance ends. I was up there this past weekend and I've never hunted in worse dirt. There's literally powdered iron mixed into it and hot rocks galore. My MXT went goofy on me at times and was telling me the target was at 8 inches and when I dug it turned out to be more like 4 or 5. If you love a challenge visit the Culpeper County area.
