Tejon -- I'm a believer

I love this Tejon. Only been out a few times with it, but am amazed at its depth, stability, and discrimination. At this point I'd say it's a vast improvement over my Outlaw. This little 1930's Jewel Tea Company pin/button was at the bottom of the hole about 6-7". It's about half the size of a dime.

I love my Tejon, too. Can't help but think discrimination could be a bit better, though. Mine has the 11x8 coil on it. Anyone think that the disc. works better with the concentric coils?

I have the 9x8 concentric, and the discrimination seems fine to me. I had one of the widescan coils on my Outlaw and did not like it at all. compared to the 8" donut coil, I thought the discrimination was poor and the depth wasn't that much better..

bring back the 7" mono its the best coil for jewellery hunting and disc, what were they thinking??? and lighten up on the outlaw poor thing  yeah small coils on the T it does very well, or super size it with NEL or Detech , mid size don't do so well on the T.

I've understood for years (rightfully or not) that widescan coils do not disc as well as concentrics.
